Women's Lacrosse Puts Three on All-Conference Team, Radio & Blubaugh Tabbed as Coaching Staff of the Year

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team had their most successful season in program history, culminating in several accolades, including head coach Naomi Radio and assistant coach Erica Blubaugh being selected as the Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.

Sophomore midfielder Grace Gibbs (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck) made the Landmark All-Conference first team for the second straight year. She was joined by junior goalie Chloe Gerhard (Macungie, Pa. / Emmaus) on the all-conference first team, with Gerhard being tabbed as the top keeper in the conference while first-year defender Maeve Kuser (Upperco, Md. / Hereford) was named to the all-conference second team.

Gibbs led the Landmark Conference in goals with 67, led the league in ground balls with 56, was tied for third in points with 77, was second in the conference in caused turnovers with 41, and was tied for ninth in draw controls with 71.

Gerhard nabbed top goalie honors after a strong season in net for the Eagles that saw her finish first overall and third in conference play in goals-against average, fourth overall and first in conference play in saves, first overall and second in conference play in save percentage, fourth overall and second in conference play in minutes played, and second overall and fourth in conference play in wins.

Kuser was crucial to an Eagle defense that allowed their fewest ever goals in a season as she finished third in the conference in caused turnovers with 34 and ninth in groundballs at 42.
