HUNTINGDON, Pa.-The Juniata women's lacrosse dropped their final home game of the season, 16-1, to visiting Elizabethtown on a warm and sunny day at Gibbel Stadium.
The Blue Jays tallied 10 goals over the opening 22 minutes as they controlled the run of play and went into halftime ahead 10-0.
Elizabethtown scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to push their lead to 13. Zoe Fishter (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) scored the lone goal for the Eagles with just under 13 minutes left in the contest.
Juniata will travel to Cedar Crest for their penultimate game, Wednesday at 4:00.
