Women's Golf Finish Second at Turtle Creek Intercollegiate

LIMERICK, Pa.- The Juniata women's golf team finished in second place from a field of four teams as the Turtle Creek Intercollegiate at the Turtle Creek Golf Club, a par 72 course. 

The team posted a score of 387, just six strokes off the victors from Drew.  

Sofia Amoroso led the way for Juniata, finishing the day +13 with a score of 85 to finish in fifth place from a field of 30. She started the round on the back nine and improved from a +8 start on the back nine with a birdie on the 16th hole to manage +5 on the front nine. Alyssa Mostick had the next-best score for the Eagles with a 97 to tie for tenth place. She also started on the back nine, going 49 on the back nine, then 48 on the front nine. Lily Stewart finished the day with a 100 in 14th, while Kylee Marshall completed the team score with a 111 to tie for 23rd place. Sandy Milby also competed for Juniata, finishing the round with a 129 in 28th. 

The Juniata women's golf team wraps up the fall next Saturday, October 21st, and Sunday, October 22nd, at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.
