Women's Golf Selected Sixth in Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women's golf team was selected sixth in this season's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Drew takes the top spot in the preseason poll as they are seated first with 70 points, behind them is Catholic (56), Scranton (41), Goucher (36), Marywood (21), Juniata (19), Susquehanna (18) and then Elizabethtown with 11 points.

The Eagles placed fifth in the Landmark Preview in the fall with freshman Sofia Amoroso (West Chester, Pa./ West Chester East) leading the way for Juniata. Amoroso took first with a score off 86, Demma Franklin (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County HS) finished 22nd with a score of 111, and Ellie Miller (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg) finished 23rd with a score of 112. Claire Alfree (Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan HS) finished 24th with a score of 115 and Alexis Zazvrskey (Northern Cambria, Pa. / Bishop Carroll HS) finished 25th with a score of 116.  

Juniata starts off their spring season, April 2nd at Elizabethtown.
