Women's Golf Selected Seventh in Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md- The Juniata women's golf team was selected seventh in this season's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Drew takes the top spot in the preseason poll as they are seated first with 70 points, behind them is Catholic (47), Scranton (43), Marywood (38), Susquehanna (26), Goucher (21), Juniata (16) and then Elizabethtown with 11 points.

The Eagles are returning four upperclassmen, seniors Glenn Brumm (Tuscon, Ariz. / Canyon Del Oro) and Sarah Sotelo (Fairfax, Va. / Paul VI), junior Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton), and sophomore Demma Franklin (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County HS). Eagle newcomers include, Claire Alfree (Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan HS), Erin Brady (Warwick, RI. / LaSalle Academy), Ellie Miller (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg), and Alexis Zazvrskey (Northern Cambria, Pa. / Bishop Carroll HS)

Their first match of the spring season takes place on April 4th for the Elizabethtown College Spring Invitational while Landmark Championships will take place April 27th and 28th at Drew University.
