Elaina Hummel enters her second season (2018-19) as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team here at Juniata.
At Frostburg State University, Hummel made her way into the record books as the ninth all-time scorer with over 1,000 points by the end of her career. She was named to the 2013-14 Capital Athletic Conference's Second Team.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and is currently a physical education teacher at Huntingdon Area Middle School. Before coming to coach at Juniata, she coached the 7th-8th grade team at Milton Somers Middle School.
