Assistant Coach Anne Millar joined the Eagle women's hoops program prior to the start of the 2007-08 season. She primarily assists Coach Young with practice, player development, and game strategy.

Millar previously served as junior varsity girls' basketball coach and assistant to the varsity girls' coach at Bellefonte Area High School in Bellefonte, Pa., during the 2004-05 season.

Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Millar was the freshman, sophomore, and junior varsity girls' basketball coach, as well as the freshman boys' basketball coach, at Hellgate High School in Missoula, Mont., from 1995 to 2001. During her time at Hellgate, she was selected as a coach for the Western Montana Class AA all-star teams at the Treasure State Classic Girls' Basketball Tournament in both 2000 and 2001.

Millar’s claim to fame is that she convinced head coach Danny Young-Uhrich, and fellow assistant Claudia McDowell, to compete in the Philly Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon in 2013.  An avid outdoorsman, she and husband Judson are the owners of Stone Mountain Adventures, a traditional summer camp for teens 12-16 years of age, located just outside of Huntingdon.  The facility is used for team building and a therapeutic horseback riding program that serves local special needs elementary students.

Millar is a 1991 graduate of Jamestown College, with a degree in English and a minor in physical education. She received her master's degree in educational leadership and counseling from the University of Montana in 2004.
