Abigail Wemhoff enters her sixth year (2023-24) as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

Prior to Juniata, Wemhoff was a graduate assistant at Waynesburg University for one year. While at Waynesburg, she coached practices and games with an emphasis on working with the post players and recruited prospective student-athletes. Wemhoff's other duties as a graduate assistant included acting as the game manager for men's and women's soccer, facilitating SAAC in their roles and responsibilities, and supervising intramurals and the student referees. During her first year of coaching at Waynesburg, Wemhoff earned her M.B.A. in 2019.

In 2016, Wemhoff graduated from the University of Mount Union with her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. She was a three-time letter winner and a four-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honoree during her time with the Purple Raiders. She was also a part of the 2016 OAC championship-winning squad. 

Wemhoff also coaches two eighth-grade teams out of Altoona for All Day Hoops.
