HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's basketball team had four players score in double figures as they dominated the visiting Colonels of Wilkes, 89-63, Monday evening in Memorial Gymnasium.

Kaeana Rebert (Hanover, Pa. / South Western) found Grace Long (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) behind the line and she drilled a three to open the game. Long was not done, on the other end she stole the ball and took it the length of the floor before she laid it in to make it 5-0. Gracie Stauffer (Loysville, Pa. / West Perry) found Long for another three as Long had all eight points as Juniata led 8-0 a little under a minute into the game. Wilkes score on a jumper, a layup and a made free throw to make it 8-5. Cassie Mock (Martinsburg, Pa. / Central Martinsburg) found Stauffer inside for a layup and then they switched roles as Stauffer setup Mock for a three to make it 13-5. Mock snagged an offensive rebound and laid it in. Rebert made a three of her own to stretch the lead to 11. On the next trip down the floor, Stauffer block a shot, grabbed the rebound and nailed a jumper off a pass from Mock to make it 20-7. Larissa Leonard (Three Springs, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon) sunk a triple off a pass from Megan Haines (Bloomsburg, Pa. / Bloomsburg) as the Eagles led 26-18 after one.

Mock opened the second with her second three of the game off a feed from Rebert and Rebert scored from the midrange on a pass from Madison Colyer (Newville, Pa. / Big Spring) as the Eagles went ahead by double digits.

With just under four minutes left in the period, the Colonels got within six on a three. Averie Hess (Jersey Shore, Pa. / Jersey Shore) grabbed an offensive rebound and scored. A few seconds later Rebert found Colyer for a layup before Stauffer & Colyer sunk a pair of free throws apiece as the Eagle lead ballooned back to 13. Juniata led 49-36 at the half.
