Indianapolis, IN – The Juniata women's basketball team will travel Thomas More in Kentucky to face the Lady Lions of Piedmont College (Demorest, Ga.) in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Piedmont (23-5) earned an automatic bid to the tournament after winning the USA South Tournament.

This will be Juniata's fourth trip to the tournament. 

Thomas More, the host, will face Oglethorpe in the other first round game. Game times will be announced tonight or tomorrow morning.
