HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's basketball team is now ranked 20th in this weeks D3hoops.com poll after being ranked 25th the previous week.

The Eagles are currently 8-0 overall and 1-0 in the Landmark Conference. On Saturday, Juniata defeated Wilkes, 77-44. Gracie Stauffer (Loysville, Pa./West Perry) led the team with 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and four blocks. Dani Atkinson (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) had eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals while Rachael Anstine (York, Pa./Dallastown) had eight poiints, four rebounds, and two steals. So far this season, Atkinson leads the Eagles with 17.1 points per game while Morgan Instone (Johnstown, Pa. / Bishop McCort) is averaging 12.9. Instone also leads the team in rebounds per game with eight. 

The Eagles return to action December 18th when they play La Roche College. Tip-off is at 5:00PM.
