Women’s Basketball Selected 5th in Pre-Season Polls

Huntingdon, Pa., Juniata women’s basketball received 45 points to be selected 5^th in the Landmark Conference preseason polls. The Eagles finished just 10 points behind fourth place Elizabethtown.

The top four teams in the standings at the end of the regular season will qualify for postseason play in the conference tournament. The top two seeds in the Landmark will host semifinals on the February 25^th. The highest remaining seed will host the conference championship on February 28^th. The champion will automatically qualify to participate in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Eagles begin their season by Plattsburg St. and New York University in the NYU Tip-Off Tournament on November 15^th and 16^th. Games times are scheduled for 3 pm and noon respectively.
