McDonald Picks Up Two More Weekly Honors

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Junior Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) of Juniata women's basketball was recognized nationally by D3Hoops.com and the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) for her outstanding play last week.  D3Hoops.com tapped the forward to its Team of the Week and the ECAC named her the Division III South Player of the Week.

These mark McDonald's second and third weekly honors for helping lead the Eagles to a 2-0 week while averaging over 20 points per game.  McDonald was also selected as the Landmark's Player of the Week Monday.

She has started every game this season and averages 32 minutes on the floor per contest.  Her 45.6 field goal percentage is the best on the team.  McDonald not only has the ability to put the ball in the basket, she also spreads the wealth.  She currently leads the team with 23 assists.
