No. 24 Eagles Improve to 4-0 with 76-63 Win At Frostburg State

FROSTBURG, Md. – No. 24 Juniata women's basketball took the lead late in the first half and never looked back as they topped Frostburg State, 76-63, on the road Tuesday night to improve to 4-0 on the season.  The Eagles were led by junior Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa.) who earned her fourth-straight double-double of the year, finishing with team highs of 18 points, 16 rebounds, four steals and three blocks.

 

Sophomore Kelsey Livoti (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) picked up a career-high 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds.  She also finished with three blocks and had four assists on the night.

 

Juniata remains on the road as they open Landmark Conference play at Moravian this Saturday, Dec. 1.  The Eagles have been competing against Moravian since the 1985-86 season.  Despite having a 15-26 all-time record against the Greyhounds, the Eagles are on a four-game win streak against Moravian.  The last time Juniata travelled to Bethlehem, they pulled out a 63-60 win.
