BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata softball team dropped two games at #12 Moravian, 12-1 and 5-2, on a sunny and windy afternoon at Blue and Grey Field.

Game one saw the Greyhounds jump on the Eagles early in the bottom of the first as they put up six runs.

In the top of the second, Maggie Peck (Philipsburg, Pa. / Philipsburg Osceola) doubled to left field and went to third while Maya McLeod (San Diego, Calif. / La Jolla Country Day School) reached safely on a fielding error by the second basewoman. McLeod stole second and Peck scored on a throwing error by the catcher.

Moravian put five more runs up in the third to push their lead to 11 and another in the fourth on an RBI-single to left to make it 12-1.

Juniata went down 1-2-3 in the fifth to end game one.

Game two opened with the teams trading zeros over the first two innings. In the bottom half of the third inning, the Greyhounds went for four runs. They tacked on another in the fourth on a RBI-double to left center to push their lead to five.

In the top of the sixth, Molly Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Central) singled to left and advanced to second on a wild pitch. She reached third on Alyssa "Sheddy" Shedlock's (State College, Pa. / State College) ground out to short. Abby Ebright (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin East HS) walked to put runners at first and third. A double steal put her at second while Peck stole home. Ashley Clark (Saxton, Pa. / Tussey Mountain) singled to right field to plate Ebright, but the Eagles couldn't push any more runs across the plate.

Juniata closes the year 12-22.
