Carthew Named Landmark Player of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Junior, first baseman Jennifer Carthew (New Paris, Pa. / Chestnut-Ridge HS) was named Landmark Conference Player of the Week.

Carthew hit .370 over the nine games during the Eagles spring break trip. Carthew went 10-of-27 from the plate to go along with three doubles, five RBI, five walks, and a stolen base. She helped the Eagles to a 6-1 win over nationally ranked Babson where the junior had a hit. She safely hit in seven of the nine games, including a 3-for-4 outing against Fredonia.

The Eagles will host a double header against Moravian for their first conference game on Friday March 30th. The games will be played at 3:00PM and 5:00PM.
