LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2015-16 academic year. Current Juniata players Allie Baney (State College, Pa./State College Area HS), Jennifer Carthew (New Paris, Pa./Chestnut-Ridge), and Sarah Sotelo (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI Catholic) all garnered recognition.
157 athletes from across Division III received recognition. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Baney's POE is Sports Management while Carthew's is Biology/Pre-Medicine. Sotelo's POE is Accounting and Financial Management.
