Three Softball Players Named NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2014-15 academic year. Current Juniata players Allie Baney (State College, Pa./State College Area HS) and Paige Dennison (East Berlin, Pa/Bermudian Springs) along with graduate Katie Schroeder (Kempton, Pa./Kutzdown) all garnered recognition.

 

A total of 1,018 athletes from across Division III received recognition. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

 

Baney’s POE is Sports Management while Dennison’s is Sociology. Schroeder graduated with a degree in Zoology.
