Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth in Landmark Champs

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team earned a sixth-place finish as they hosted the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships at the Sunset Golf Club on Friday morning. 

The team completed five laps, eight kilometers total, around the course at Sunset Golf Club, designed with high amounts of elevation change across several holes on the golf course.  

Conrad Coffey continued a strong freshman campaign with a 29th-place showing from a field of 102, finishing in 28:11.01. Max Scott and Ellis Kline each competed in their final conference championships for Juniata, with Scott finishing 43rd with a time of 28:51.10 and Kline in 47th place with a time of 29:17.48. Augie Secco was in 51st place with a time of 29:31.70, while Gavin Robb completed the scoring for Juniata with a 59th-place finish, completing the event in 29:54.66.  

Juniata earns a sixth-place finish, beating out seventh-place Drew by six points via more consistency in finishing places (27, 31, 35, 38, 41 for Juniata and 4, 39, 43, 44, 48 for Drew). 

The Juniata men's cross country team concludes 2023 as they tackle the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlnatic Regionals at Lock Haven University on Saturday, November 11th.
