Men's Cross Country Finishes Fourth at DeSales Invitational

Center Valley, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team finished in fourth place from a field of 10 competing teams at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday morning.

The race was the second 8K for the Eagles this fall.

Conrad Coffey posted the team's best time in the race, finishing in 38th place with a time of 29:18.2 from a field of 108 competitors. Ellis Kline followed in 43rd place with a time of 29:24.2, while Max Scott was right behind in 44th place with a time of 29:24.7. Gavin Robb finished in 29:56.5 for a 51st-place showing, while Augie Secco logged his first 8K time as a collegiate athlete, finishing in 55th place with a time of 30:29.7.

Juniata finished in fifth place with a score of 159, breaking a tie for fifth with a club team as Robb finished higher than that team's fifth-best scorer.

The Juniata men's cross country team competes in another 8K next weekend as they head to the Aubrey Shenk Invitational at Gettysburg College.
