Men's Cross Country Places Third at Landmark Championship Preview Meet

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team logged their second 6K time of the season as the hosted the Landmark Conference Championship Preview meet at the Sunset Golf Club. 

The team secured a third-place finish on the day of the four schools competing, with all five runners setting personal bests for the six-kilometer distance. 

Conrad Coffey led the way for Juniata, logging a 20:06.50 to claim 12th place from a field of 44. Max Scott followed 10 seconds back with a 20:16.70 for a 16th-place finish. Augie Secco was next in 24th place with a time of 20:35.20.  

Ellis Kline's day saw him claim 27th place at 21:04.20. Gavin Robb rounded out the scoring for Juniata, finishing right behind Kline with a time of 21:10.70. 

The Juniata men's cross country team returns to competition on Saturday, September 23rd for the Lock Haven University Invite. It will be the first 8K event of 2023 for the Eagles.
