Ulrich Named Landmark Senior Scholar Athlete

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata College men's cross country standout, Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) has been named the Landmark's men's cross country senior scholar athlete.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, and sports information directors. They are chosen at the end of each sport season. 

Ulrich is first Juniata men's cross country runner to be named Landmark Senior Scholar Athlete. 

Recently, Ulrich finished 39th at NCAA Mid-East Regionals with a time of 25:54.1. The team placed 11th overall at regionals. Throughout his four-year career, Ulrich earned Landmark All-Conference first team honors three times and was also named Landmark Athlete of the Week twice.  He has also helped the Eagles to two Landmark Cross Country runner-up finishes and two third-place finishes.

Academically, Ulrich has a 3.97 cumulative GPA and has been named to the Landmark Academic honor roll three times. His P.O.E. is Physics and Mathematics.
