Men's Cross Country Takes 11th at NCAA DIII Mideast Regionals

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team placed 11th at NCAA Mideast Regionals hosted by Muhlenberg College, Saturday.

Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) was the top finisher for Juniata as he placed 39th with a time of 25:54.1. Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey) finished 42nd with a time of 25:58.5, Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey HS) finished 68th with a time of 26:22.6, and Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) finished 97th with a time of 26:52.2. Erik Juengling (Lancaster, Pa. / J.P. McCaskey) finished 98th with a time of 26:54.0, Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / St. John's Prep) finished 118th with a time of 27:06.1, and Jeremy Rissler (New Holland, Pa. / Garden Spot H.S.) finished 251st with a time of 29:40.7.

Ulrich, Caroselli, D'Amico, Juengling, and MacMullin all ran personal best times while Jones ran a season best time. 

It is the Eagle's best point total ever at the NCAA regionals with 344 points and also their second best finish ever at NCAA Regionals.
