LORETTO, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team placed second with 45 points at the St. Francis Opener.

Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey) finished fourth with a time of 23:16.6, Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) finished eighth with a time of 23:56.9, and Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey HS) finished 11th with a time of 24:54.5. Erik Juengling (Lancaster, Pa. / J.P. McCaskey) finished 12th with a time of 25:03.9, Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) finished 15th with a time of 25:41.8, Jeremy Rissler (New Holland, Pa. / Garden Spot H.S.) finished 20th with a time of 26:17.6, and Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / St. John's Prep) finished 26th with a time of 28:04.1. Steven Glodek (Amberton, Pa. / Fannet-Metal) finished 27th with a time of 28:41.1 and Thomas Cope (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) finished 31st with a time of 29:56.8. 

The Eagles return to action September 14th for the Catholic Invitational.
