Men's Cross Country Slated Second in Landmark Preseason Poll

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team was selected second in this season's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Juniata finished 14 points behind Elizabethtown while Moravian finished third in the poll and Scranton rounded out the top four. The Eagles received one first place vote.

Juniata has an exerienced set of runners as all but three are seniors. The Eagles return seven seniors and a sophmore while adding two freshman to the squad. Among the returners, four Eagles made the Landmark All-Conference team last season. Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) and Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey HS) made the All-Conference first team while teammates Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey) and Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) were named to the All-Conference second team.

The Eagles start off their season this Friday, August 30th as they compete in the St. Francis Opener.
