Eagles Compete at NCAA Regionals, Ulrich Earns All-Region Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team placed 12th overall at the NCAA Regionals hosted by DeSales University, Saturday. Junior, Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer Senior High) earned all-region honors.

Ulrich finished 33rd with a time of 26:56, Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey HS) finished 64th with a time of 27:38, and Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey) finished 67th with a time of 27:41. Desmond O'Donovan (Philadelphia, Pa. / Science Leadership Academy) finished 89th with a time of 28:06, Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) finished 96th with a time of 28:10, Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / St. John's Prep) finished 155th with a time of 28:57, and Andy Meci (Woodstock, N.Y. / Onteora) finished 192nd with a time of 29:35. 

Ulrich is the fourth Eagle to be named NCAA All-Region in Juniata program history. Juniata ties for the second best finish in program history, the Eagles best finish was 10th place in 2005. It is also the Eagle's second best point total ever at the NCAA regionals. Juniata's best total was also in 2005 with 345 points.
