Juniata Finishes Second at Landmark Championships

Bethlehem, Pa. - Juniata men's cross country finished in second place behind Elizabethtown at the 2016 Landmark Championships hosted by Moravian College on Oct. 29. Three Eagles placed in the top ten and seven runners set their new personal bests.

Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) crossed the finish line first with a new personal best time of 25:53.08. Shortly after, Nicholas Simpson (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) finished third with a time of 26:16.18. Freshman Peter D'Amico (Hummerlstown, Pa./Hershey) placed ninth overall, marking 26:43.99 as his time.

Freshman Desmond O'Donovan (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) just missed the top ten by ten seconds, as he finished in 13th. O'Donovan also set his personal best with his time of 27:00.52.

Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y./Homer Senior High), Vinnie Caroselli (Hersey, Pa./Milton Hershey), Kent Zelesky (Bolton, Ct./Bolton) and Steven Glodek (Amberton, Pa./Fannet-Metal) also recorded personal bests with their times of 27:30.92, 27:46.27, 28:42.68 and 28:49.16, respectively.
