CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata men's cross country team competed in one of its biggest races of the season on Saturday at the DeSales Invitational. The Eagles had a strong showing as they placed 10th out of 38 schools.
Leading the way for Juniata was Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills). He came in 12th with a time of 26:10. That was a personal record for him. Fellow Eagle Nick Simpson (Silver Springs, Md./Albert Einstein) was 38th overall in a final time of 26:56. Freshman Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) also had a personal best time of 27:25. Rounding out the finishers for Juniata was Desmond O'Donovan (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) (27:33), Petro Sokirniy (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) (27:54), Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y./Homer) (27:59), and Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J./Burlington Township) (28:44).
