Men's Cross Country Ranked No. 10 in Mideast Region

Huntingdon, Pa. - U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ranked Juniata's men's cross country team at No. 10 in the Mideast Region. Juniata jumped into the rankings after their performance at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24.

At the Lock Haven Invitational, the Eagles placed fourth out of the 15 participating schools. In doing so, two Eagles achieved their personal best. Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) finished 12th out of 202 contestants and set his personal best at 26:12.6. Petro Sokirniy (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) lowered his personal best to 27:01.30 as he finished 33rd overall. Freshman Steven Glodek (Amberton, Pa./Fannet-Metal) improved on his time from the last event, lowering his time to 28:47.6.

Juniata is one of two Landmark schools in region's ranking. USTFCCCA ranked Elizabethtown College seventh for the second week.
