Men’s Cross Country Begins Season at Bison Open

LEWISBURG, Pa.-  The Juniata men's cross country competed at the Bison Open on Friday evening. The Eagles were joined by host Bucknell and Susquehanna.

 

The best finish for the Eagles came from Conor Dimond (Summerhil, Pa./Forest Hills) who placed 14th out of 50 runners. He had a time of 15:24.

 

Several freshman runners also placed in the three-mile race. Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y./Homer Senior High) was 23rd overall with a time of 15:52. Fellow freshman Desmond O'Donovan (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) was 27th (15:57), Vinnie Caroselli (Hershey, Pa./Milton Hershey) was 28th (16:05), and Andrew Meci (Woodstock, N.Y./Onteora) was 29th (16:10).

 

The Eagles will return in two weeks when they will participate in the Moravian Invitational on September 16. The race will start at 6:15 p.m.
