LEXINGTON, Va.- Juniata men's volleyball middle blocker Luke Hoffman placed on the AVCA All-American Second Team for Division III, following up on an Honorable Mention appearance in 2023. 

Hoffman wraps up accolades season in 2024 with this Second Team selection, an AVCA All-Region selection, and a place on the Continental Volleyball Conference All-Conference First Team.  

Hoffman led the CVC in hitting percentage (.425), was second in blocks per set (0.96), and ranked 12th in aces per set (0.37). His .425 hitting percentage is ninth in Division III, while his .96 blocks per set is the 23rd-best rate in Division III men's volleyball. Hoffman ended the season with 101 career aces, which is the eighth-most in program history. 

The 2024 Juniata men's volleyball season came to a close with a second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, as they fell to regional hosts Stevens in four sets in the regional final. They ended the season with a 26-7, 7-1 record marked by the program's fifth NCAA Tournament appearance, a fifth CVC Tournament Final appearance, a season-high 13-game winning streak, and the program's eighth-consecutive winning season. They entered the NCAA Tournament last weekend sixth in the AVCA Division III Men's Volleyball poll.
