LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Juniata men's volleyball team cracked the top-10 in this week's AVCA Coaches Top-15 Poll. They currently sit at seventh, after being ranked 12th in the AVCA preseason poll last week.

Over the weekend, the Eagles hosted the Juniata Invitational. Juniata went 1-1 on the weekend after facing No. 1 SUNY New Paltz and now No. 12 Stevenson. On Friday, JC fell to New Paltz in four sets. Robert Bowling (Columbus, Ohio / Hilliard Darby) totaled 16 kills while hitting .353 and Joe Fick (Venetia, Pa. / Peters Township) also added 16 kills while hitting .314. Michael Young (Westlake Village, Calif. / Westlake Village) tallied 40 assists, six digs, and three block assists. On Saturday, the Eagles defeated Stevenson, 3-2. Bowling totaled 22 kills while hitting .400. Kevin Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle HS) totaled 12 kills while hitting .375 and also added four block assists. 

On Monday, Bowling was named the CVC Athlete of the Week for his performace over the weekend. 

The Eagles will face No. 10 Arcadia and No. 9 Vassar this Saturday, February 1st.
