Peterson Named ECAC Player of the Year, Fick and Duffy Named to All-ECAC Teams

DANBURY, Conn.-The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2019 Division III Men's Volleyball All-ECAC Team and Major Award Winners, with senior opposite Quinn Peterson (Las Vegas, Nev. / Shadow Ridge) being named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year, the first in program history. He was joined on the All-ECAC First Team by junior outside Joe Fick (Venetia, Pa. / Peters Township) while freshman Kevin Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle HS) was named to the All-ECAC second team. 

Peterson was named AVCA first team All-American (he was a second teamer last year), and also was CVC all-conference first team selection for the second straight year. He was ninth in the country in kills per set (3.93) and points per set (4.54). 

Fick was also a CVC all-conference first team this season, his first appearance on the team. He finished fourth in the CVC in kills (314), sixth in kills per set (3.11) and fifth in total points (351).

Duffy had a strong rookie year for the Eagles as he was named to the CVC all-conference third team. He finished the year ranked sixth in the country in hitting percentage (.436), first in the conference in total blocks (92), second in solo blocks (28) and in block assists (64) while he finished fifth in blocks per set (0.86).
