Peterson Named CVC Player of the Week

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata College men's volleyball standout Quinn Peterson (Las Vegas, Nev. / Shadow Ridge) was named the Continental Volleyball Conference's Player of the Week.

Peterson, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., picks up his second conference weekly award this season after helping the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 record last week. Peterson, an outside hitter, was efficient in all three matches while totaling 44 kills. He hit .554 on the week, committing just eight errors on 65 swings. Peterson had a high of 19 kills in a win over St. John Fisher, adding six digs and five aces. He led his team in not just kills in their win over Penn State-Behrend but also tallied a team-high 10 digs. On the week Peterson averaged 5.5 points per set and added 1.8 digs per set while recording six total blocks.

The Eagles will host Eastern Mennonite, tomorrow in the CVC Championship quarterfinals at 7:00PM.
