HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata College men's volleyball standout Matt Schaeffer (Mount Wolf, Pa. / Northeastern) was named Continental Conference Volleyball player of the week.

Schaeffer, a sophomore, led the Eagles attack in impressive back to back wins, averaging 13.4 assists per set with the team hitting .369 combined in the two matches. He handed out 44 assists in a win over Ramapo and followed with 50 assists in a four-set win over Messiah. The Eagles finished with 106 kills total in the two matches as they topped the .300 mark for team hitting percentage in both matches; marking just the second time this season they have done so in back to back outings.

The Eagles return to action March 16th as they will travel to Stevenson. Match time is set for 7:00PM.
