DeHaven Named CVC Coach of the Year

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Continental Volleyball Conference on Wednesday announced its top individual awards for the 2017 season. Juniata head coach Glenn DeHaven was named the Coach of the Year. He joins Kevin Moore (2013) as Eagles coaches who have earned this honor from the CVC.

 

DeHaven, in his first season as head coach at Juniata, has led the Eagles to a 21-10 record thus far, going 11-3 in conference play. As the #2 seed in the CVC Tournament, he and the Eagles won the 2017 title with a 3-2 win over Eastern Mennonite last Saturday.

 

Juniata is currently ranked #12 in the AVCA national poll and will face NYU in the opening round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship this Saturday at Memorial Gymnasium. The match begins at 7:00 p.m.
