Seeley Named CVC Player of the Week

HUNTINGDON, PA.- For the second time in this season, a member of the Juniata men's volleyball team has been named the Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week. This time it is senior middle blocker Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard).

Seeley helped Juniata pick up two wins last weekend. He recorded 17 kills over three matches at the Golden Flyer Invitational. Seeley had a high of 11 kills in a 3-2 Eagles win over Johnson & Wales, while adding four digs and three blocks. He totaled eight kills against Nazareth and seven more in a win over Medaille. Seeley averaged 2.17 kills per set, hitting .404, and finished with six digs and seven total blocks.

So far this season, Seeley leads Juniata in total blocks with 21. He is second in kills with 72. His .371 hitting percentage is the best in all of the CVC for players who have played in 60% of a team's games and had at least four total attacks per set. It also ranks 25th in all of NCAA Division III.
