Seeley Named AVCA Second Team All-American

LEXINGTON, Ky.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 13th annual AVCA Men's Volleyball Division III All-American Teams on Monday. Junior middle blocker Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) was named to the Second Team.

 

Seeley had a career season for the Eagles this season. He led Juniata in kills (303), total blocks (70), and service aces (26) and also added 78 digs. Seeley had a season-high 15 digs against Hunter on February 20. He recorded season highs of seven total blocks twice (1/30 vs. Mount St. Joseph and 4/2 vs. Cairn) and five service aces twice (2/6 vs. Wells and 3/22 vs. Thiel). Seeley tallied four 20+ kill performances with a season-best 24 coming on March 30 against Penn State Altoona.

 

Seeley totaled 370 points for Juniata, which led all players. He was one of two players to play in all 26 matches and his 95 sets played was a team-high.
