  • Four Eagles Named to CVC All-Academic Team

    LEXINGTON, KY. – Four members of the Juniata College men's volleyball team were selected to the Continental Volleyball Conference's 2016 All-Academic Team on Monday. Chad Albert (Cranberry Township, Pa/Seneca Valley), Zach Guiciardi (Creighton, Pa./Deer Lakes), Ryan Shelton (Baldwinsville, N.Y./Baldwinsville), Avery Spiess (York Haven, Pa./Red Land) are representing Juniata on this year’s squad.
  • Seeley Named AVCA Second Team All-American

    LEXINGTON, Ky.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 13th annual AVCA Men’s Volleyball Division III All-American Teams on Monday. Junior middle blocker Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) was named to the Second Team.
  • Eagles' Season Ends With 3-0 Defeat to #7 Stevenson in CVC Semis

    OWING MILLS, Md.- With the opportunity to advance to the championship match on the line, the Juniata men’s volleyball team first had the task of taking on #7 Stevenson in the Continental Volleyball Conference semifinals on Friday night. The Mustangs easily took the first two sets but JC gave them a fight in the third as Stevenson ultimately won 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 26-24).
  • Albert Named to CVC All-Conference Team

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) announced its All-Conference Team on Thursday. Senior middle blocker Chad Albert (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) was the lone Juniata representative. This is his first All-Conference Award.
  • Men’s Volleyball To Face Stevenson in CVC Semifinals

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team makes a return to the Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament this Friday when it travels to Owings Mills, MD to play Stevenson. The Eagles are the #4 seed while the Mustangs are the #1 seed.
  • Eagles Clinch Playoff Spot With Straight Set Win over Cairn

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Needing a straight set victory over Cairn to secure a spot in the upcoming Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament, the Juniata men’s volleyball team did just that. The Eagles defeated the Highlanders 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-14) on Senior Night at Memorial Gymnasium to clinch a playoff spot.
  • Juniata Stopped by #5 Rutgers Newark; Remains Alive For Playoff Spot

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Holding on to a 2-0 lead over #5 Rutgers-Newark, the Juniata men’s volleyball team nearly pulled off an upset win on Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Scarlet Raiders came back to win three straight sets to defeat JC 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-12).
  • Eagles Come Back to Defeat Lions In Five Sets

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Faced with a 2-1 deficit against visiting Penn State Altoona, the Juniata men’s volleyball team fought back to win a close fourth set and easily won the fifth set on its way to a 3-2 victory on Wednesday night at Memorial Gym. The win improves the Eagles’ record to 9-14 overall while the Lions drop to 15-9 on the season.
  • Eagles Drop Non-Conference Match to #9 Elmira

    ELMIRA, N.Y.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team traveled to Elmira on Monday night for a non-conference match with the Soaring Eagles. EC was able to get the best of the Eagles with a 3-1 victory.
  • Men’s Volleyball Defeats Thiel To Snap Winless Streak

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team got back in the winning column as the Eagles defeated Thiel 3-0 (25-11, 25-23, 25-19) on Tuesday night at Memorial Gym. The win snaps JC’s six-match winless streak.
  • Strong Offensive Output Not Enough for Eagles Against Marymount

    ARLINGTON, Va.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team played its second consecutive Continental Volleyball Conference match on Saturday night. The Eagles had a 1-0 lead on Marymount but the Saint won the last three sets to come away with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-18).
  • Juniata Gives Valiant Effort But Falls Short Against EMU

    HARRISONBURG, Va.- Juniata nearly forced a fifth and deciding set against Eastern Mennonite but the Royals thwarted any comeback attempt as they held off the Eagles 3-1 (25-20, 25-17, 22-25, 27-25) on Friday night at Yoder Arena. The loss drops JC to 7-12 overall and 3-5 in the Continental Volleyball Conference while the Royals improve to 10-11 overall and 4-6 in the conference.
  • Eagles Fall to #4 Stevens On the Road

    HOBOKEN, N.J.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team returned to the court for the first time since March 5 on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles took on defending National Champion Stevens Institute of Technology in a non-conference match and the Ducks won by the score of 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-20) at Canavan Arena.
  • #15 Eagles Drop To #2 New Paltz and #7 Dominican

    NEW PALTZ, N.Y.- Juniata traveled to New Paltz for a Saturday afternoon tri-match. The Eagles fell to the #2 Hawks 3-0 in the first match (18-25, 12-25, 17-25).
  • Men’s Volleyball Falls To Stevenson

    OWINGS MILLS, Md.- For the second time this season, the Juniata and Stevenson men’s volleyball teams met in a Continental Volleyball Association match. The Mustangs got the better of the Eagles as they won by the score of 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-16).
  • Men’s Volleyball Defeats Cairn, 3-0

    LANGHORNE, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team played its second conference match in as many days on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles rebounded well after losing to Rutgers-Newark last night with a 3-0 victory (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) over Cairn. The win evens the Eagles record at 7-7 overall and 3-3 in the Continental Volleyball Conference.
  • #15 Eagles Falls To #4 Scarlet Raiders in Three Sets

    NEWARK, N.J.- Juniata men’s volleyball traveled to Newark, N.J. to faced Continental Volleyball Conference rival Rutgers-Newark at the Golden Dome Arena. The first place Scarlet Raiders defeated the Eagles 3-0 (21-15, 18-25, 16-25).
  • Men’s Volleyball Splits Matches on Second Day of Juniata Invitational

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team split two matches on the final day of competition at the Juniata Invitational. In their first match, the Eagles dropped a 3-0 (23-25, 20-25, 11-25) decision to #2 SUNY New Paltz. JC rebounded in their second match as it defeated #14 Hunter 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-22).
  • Eagles Defeat Lasell; Shock #4 Nazareth at Juniata Invitational

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted two matches on Friday night at the Juniata Invitational. The Eagles dropped only one set all night as they defeated Lasell 3-1 (15-25, 27-25, 26-24, 25-22) in their first match and then followed that with an upset of #4 Nazareth, 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-23).
  • Eagles Drop 3-0 Decision to #10 Stevenson

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team played in its lone match of the week on Friday night against #10 Stevenson. The Eagles kept it close but ultimately fell to the Mustangs 3-0 (24-26, 22-25, 21-25).

    GREENVILLE, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball played Thiel in a Continental Volleyball Conference match on Tuesday evening. The Tomcats kept it close but the Eagles were able to come out with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-23) victory.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted a pair of matches on Saturday at Memorial Gymnasium. In their first match of the day, the Eagles fell to Marymount (Va.) 3-1 (15-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-23). JC rebounded in its second match as they knocked off Wells 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20).
  • Juniata Men’s Volleyball Picks Up First Win

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. Hosting their first home match of the season, the Juniata men’s volleyball got a big boost from the home crowd as they defeated Eastern Mennonite 3-1 for their first victory of the season. After trailing 0-1 after the first set, the Eagles rallied with a big victory in the second set 32-20 and then took the third and fourth frames with scores of 25-17 and 25-14.
  • Men’s Volleyball Drops a Pair of Matches in Five Sets

    SPRINGFIELD, OH.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team wrapped up competition at the Jim Coleman Invitational hosted by Wittenberg University. The Eagles had two tough matches that went to five sets but lost to Mount St. Joseph and the host Tigers.
  • Men’s Volleyball defeated by #7 Carthage In Season Opener, 3-0

    SPRINGFIELD, OH- After having their season delayed by a week, the #9 Juniata men’s volleyball team finally got things started on Friday night as they participated in the Jim Coleman Invitational at Wittenberg College. The Eagles rallied in the third set but ultimately fell to #7 Carthage 3-0.
  • Juniata Men’s Volleyball 2016 Season Preview

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team will have a different look in 2016. Nine players return from last year’s 24-5 squad with just two starters coming back. The Eagles were a preseason #7 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and selected second in the Continental Volleyball Conference preseason poll.
  • Eagles Picked Second in CVC Preseason Poll

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Continental Volleyball Conference released its annual preseason poll. The Juniata men’s volleyball team has been selected second as the Eagles totaled 37 points and received one first-place vote. Rutgers-Newark, the defending conference champions, was picked first with 47 total votes and five first place votes.
