LEXINGTON, KY- For the third time this season, a member of the Juniata men's volleyball team has been named the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) Player of the Week. The honor was bestowed upon senior outside hitter Paul Kuhn (York, PA/Central York).
Kuhn helped Juniata to a pair of conference wins this past week. He pounded out 12 kills in a three-set sweep of Thiel on Tuesday night in the Eagles' CVC opener and added three total blocks and three digs in the match. Kuhn was nearly unstoppable this past Saturday at home against Marymount (Va.), as he put down 13 kills on just 17 swings with no errors for a hitting percentage of .765 as Juniata took out the Saints 3-0. He finished with five service aces and two blocks in the match, totaling 18.5 points.
On the week, Kuhn finished with 25 kills, hit .590, and averaged 4.17 kills per set. He totaled 33 points with an average of 5.5 points per set.
