HAMBURG, N.Y. – No. 1 Juniata College men's volleyball closed its non-conference schedule with two road wins in a tri-match Saturday afternoon.  The Eagles took down host Hilbert College 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-16, 25-12) before topping Penn State Altoona 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-14).  Juniata improved to 23-3 with the wins.

Senior Alex McColgin (Buffalo, N.Y./Hamburg) and freshman Tommy Keisling (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) led all attackers.  The pair finished with 13 kills each, respectively on the day.  Three Eagles split time running the offense, but sophomore Ryan Shelton (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) earned a team-best 25 assists.

Juniata's defense was led by freshman Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) who dominated at the net, recording 10 total blocks, and senior Ben Krouse (Holland, Pa. / Council Rock South) who had a team-best 10 digs.

The Eagles return home for their final matches of the regular season as they host Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) rivals No. 15 Stevenson and Cairn.  The Eagles face Stevenson on Friday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Cairn on Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m.  Juniata is 3-1 all-time against Stevenson after pulling out the 3-2 win back on March 7.  The Eagles are 6-0 against Cairn.  They swept the Highlanders 3-0 when they last met on March 8.
