Jon Cutright enters his 30th season as the head coach of the men's and women's track and field programs at Juniata at the start of the 2023-24 seasons.

Cutright also serves as the men's and women's cross country coach at Juniata. The fall of 2017 marked his 25th season as the women's coach and his 21st as the men's. In the fall of 1999, Juniata added men's cross country back into the program as a varsity sport and he assumed the head coaching duties for that sport. He was the assistant track and field coach for both the men and women for three years before moving up to the head post.

The 2011 Landmark Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year, Cutright has consistently guided his teams to finish in the top half of the Landmark Conference and now has Juniata women's track and field poised to challenge for a even greater success.

The women's squad placed third at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships in 2012, with five athletes earning All-Landmark Conference team honors. Angela Shaffer took first team in the high jump while Erika Brown earned second team in the same event. Katrina Woods was named first-team All-Landmark for her first-place performance in the 5000m run, and Chelsey Beaver (shot put) and Caroline Morgan (10,000m) were named to the second team.

Juniata women's track finished third at both the Landmark indoor and outdoor meets in 2011. Katrina Woods earned Landmark Rookie of the Year honors at the Landmark indoor championships following a third-place finish in the mile run, and running a leg of Juniata's conference record-setting squad in the 4x800m relay. That success carried into the outdoor season, where Alyssa Grube was named Landmark Rookie of the Year after finishing fourth in the 800m run and sixth in the 1500m. Overall, nine Juniata athletes earned All-Landmark Conference honors at the Landmark's 2010 outdoor championship.

The 2011 track seasons marked the third year out of the last five that a Cutright-coached athlete had earned one of the Landmark Conference's premier women's track and field awards. Angela Shaffer earned 2010 Indoor Track and Field Rookie of the Year honors, while Kelsey Buffenmyer was named the 2008 Landmark Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.

Cutright recently concluded a term on the NCAA Division III Track and Field Committee, including serving as the committee chair in 2008-09.

Cutright is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University and he received his master's degree in athletic administration from the same institution in June of 1993.

He was a two-time letter winner in cross-country at Ohio U. and he also earned a monogram for track and field. He placed seventh in the 800 meters at the 1992 Mid-American Conference championship.
