NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.- The Juniata men's track and field team competed in their second outdoor meet of the 2024 season at the Westminster College Invitational. Colson Lewis continued his strong start to the outdoor season with second-place finishes in both the 100 meters and the 200 meters.

Lewis moved up a spot in the Juniata record book with his 200-meter time of 22.17, claiming second in the event. He surpasses Ashley Mort's time of 22:43, set at the 2001 MAC Championships at Messiah. The best time in program history is 21.77, set by Randy Anderson at the 2001 MAC Championships at Widener.

Lewis earned second place in the 100 meters with a time of 10.85, setting a new personal best. His previous best time was 10.96, set at last week's Millersville Metrics. He remains third in program history in the event. Lincoln Riddle was 36th with his first time of the season, a 23.55. Sean Buckley set his first collegiate outdoor 200-meter time, finishing 56th place with a time of 25.77.

Riddle earned fifth place in the 400 meters with a time of 51.87. Gavin Robb was 36th with a time of 59.33.

Distance runners Max Scott, Ellis Kline, and CJ Coffey raced in the 500 meters. Scott finished in 31st place with a time of 17:32.63. Kline set a new personal record with a time of 17:41.21. His previous best time was 18:00.75, set at the 2022 Shippensburg Mid-Week Meet. Coffey's first 5000-meter time put him in 34th with a time of 17:52.50.

Augie Secco raced in the 3000-meter steeplechase for the first time for Juniata. He finished in 11th place with a time of 10:44.23.

Caleb Massare's first 2024 400-meter hurdles time of 1:00.82 put him in 14th place. He also competed in the long jump for the first time for Juniata, finishing in 19th place with a mark of 5.85 meters.

Robb and Buckley both attempted the pole vault but were unable to clear 3.72 meters.
