CARLISLE, Pa.- The Juniata men's track & field team team finished fourth out of eight teams at the DuCharme Invitational hosted by Dickinson College, Sunday.
In the 3000m, Alexander Jones (Burlington, N.J. / Burlington Township) finished second crossing the line at 9:06.56 while Evan Ulrich (Homer, N.Y. / Homer) finished third with a time of 9:15.96. In the 55m hurdles, Brenden Gardner (Muncy, Pa. / Hughesville) finished fourth with a time of 8.88.
In the mile, Vinnie Caroselli (Upland, Pa. / Milton Hershey) finished fourth clocking in at 4:32.82, Desmond O'Donovan (Philadelphia, Pa. / Science Leadership Academy) finished fifth with a time of 4:40.43, Jeremy Rissler (New Holland, Pa. / Garden Spot) finished ninth with a time of 4:55.8 and, Thomas Cope (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) finished 12th with a time of 5:27.13.
In the 800m, Peter D'Amico (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey) finished fifth coming in with a time of 2:09.00 and Erik Juengling (Lancaster, Pa. / J.P. McCaskey) finished seventh with a time of 2:09.47. in the 400m, O'Donovan finished fifth crossing the line at 59.05. In the 200m, Noah Zolnak (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) finished ninth coming in with a time of 27.22. In the 55m, Zolnak finished 15th coming in with a time of 7.19.
In the 300m, Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / Saint John's Prep HS) finished second with a time of 38.84 while Gardner finished third with a time of 39.28. MacMullin's time moves him to third all-time in the Juniata record book. In the 500m, MacMullin took third with a time of 1:11.78.
in the high jump, Gardner took second marking 1.65m. In the shot put, Thayer Phillips (Cuddy, Pa. / South Fayette) placed fifth throwing, 12.56m.
