2017-18 (Junior): Indoor- Placed 10th in the weight throw (10.39m) and 6th in the shot put (12.06m) with a personal best at the River Hawks Opener....placed 10th in the weight throw and 12t in the shot put at Landmark Championships...Outdoor- Placed 9th in the shot put (12.26m) at Ship Mid-Week Invite...placed 22nd in the javelin (34.45m) at Widener Invite...placed 8th in the shot put (12.86m) at Landmark Championships.
2016-17 (Sophomore): Placed third in the weight throw (11M) and third in the shot put (11.77m) at the River Hawks Opener...placed 13th in the shot put (11.84) at the Susquehanna Invite...placed fifth in the discus throw at Frostburg...placed sixth in the hammer throw (36.54) at Landmark Championships.
2015-16 (Freshman): Indoor - Fernandez earned a personal best in the shot put event at the Landmark Indoor Championship at Susquehanna University on 2/27/2016 with a throw of 10.06m.

High School: Fernandez earned two varsity letters as a thrower at New Oxford High School.. he earned 8th place his junior season in the discus.. he also played football for one season
