BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The six Landmark outdoor track & field coaches made their major award selections immediately following the conclusion of this past weekend's championship meet.

Juniata's Andrew Paterno (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro Area) and Evan Ulrich (Homer, NY/Homer) were named the Field Athlete of Rookie of the Year, respectively. The Eagles head coach Jon Cutright and his staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year.

Paterno had several top-five finishes in his final outdoor championships, including a first-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 47.02m. He placed fourth in the shot put (12.59m), fourth in the discus (39.61m) and fifth in the javelin with a mark of 43.73m.

Ulrich concluded his freshman campaign with a pair of top-five finishes. The rookie placed first in the 10,000m run with a time of 33:10.30, four seconds ahead of second place finishes and teammate Conor Dimond. Ulrich also placed third in the 5,000m race with a time of 15:34.40. Ulrich is the first Juniata Rookie of the Year in six years.

Cutright and his staff earns Juniata's first men's Coaching Staff of the Year honors. Cutright guided the Eagles to a third place finish at this year's championships with 124 points, 65 more than last year.

Paterno and Ulrich both received First Team All-Landmark Recognition. Second Team honors were awarded to Petro Sokirniy (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) and Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa/Forest Hills).

Sokirniy placed second in the 1500m run at the Landmark championship meet with his time of 4:03.74. In the 10,000m run, Dimond finished second with a time of 33:14.46. This is the first time both Eagles have received all-conference honors for outdoor track and field.
