LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Juniata men's track and field team took on day two of the Bison Open Saturday and finished with several top-20 performances Saturday.
Junior Steven Guetzlaff (Schnecksville, PA / Parkland) placed 11th in the 500-meter run, finishing with a time of 1:10.86. Guetzlaff currently ranks second in school history in the 500m. Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass. / St. John's Prep) and Andrew Meci (Woodstock, NY / Onteora) followed behind in 15th and 16th place, respectively. Dima Kunstbeck (Altoona, PA Altoona) finished 29th in the 1 mile run, with Ben Martin behind in 36th place.
Storm Fridinger (Shippensburg, PA / Shippensburg) placed 12th in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.79m. Andrew Paterno (Waynesboro, PA / Waynesboro) placed 15th in the weight throw, reaching a distance of 13.49m.
The Eagles will compete again Sat., Feb. 6, at Susquehanna University.
