Track and Field Competes at the Bison Open

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Juniata men's and women's track and field team competed at the Bison Open at Bucknell University on Friday.

Faith Nichols (Pittsburgh, PA / Taylor Allderdics) led the Eagles in the 200-meter event, running a time of 29.37. She was followed by Kaitlyn Cosby (Frederick, MD / Frederick) at 30.52 and Erin Gaines (Hagerstown, MD / Williamsport) at 31.42. Gaines and Cosby also both competed in the 60-meter hurdles with Gaines finishing with a time of 10.92 and Cosby in 11.23.

For the men, Camden Kasik (Silver Spring, MD / Albert Einstein) competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing with a time of 24.80. Kevin Schofield (Madison, CT / Daniel Hand) competed in the 5000-meter run, finishing in 16:29.92.

The Eagles will compete at day two of the Bison Open Saturday, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
