Guetzlaff Earns Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGDON, Pa., Matt Guetzlaff (Schnecksville, PA / Parkland) was one of several players announced as Landmark Athletes of the Week for February 16-22. Each week, the conference selects players of the week for their respective sport based on performance.

 

Guetzlaff set a new program record with his time of 8:52.54 in the 3,000 meter run at Friday night's Susquehanna Open. He placed third out of 33 competitors, and was tops among Landmark runners in the event. Guetzlaff now holds the third fastest time in the conference this season.

 

The Eagles will compete next weekend in the Landmark Conference Championships at Susquehanna.
