Ryan Navarro (’09) is entering his third year as assistant coach from Juniata College men’s and women’s tennis programs. A four-year starter for the Eagles, Navarro earned Second-Team All-Landmark Conference singles honors in 2008. In 2009, he helped lead Juniata to its first Landmark semifinal appearance. Navarro graduated with a degree in Communications and went on to earn his masters in communications from Duquesne University in 2011.
During his two years studying at Duquesne, Navarro helped run the institution’s Tennis On Campus program through the U.S. Tennis Association. In the spring of 2011, he became the head coach for Mt. Aloysius men’s tennis. After one season with the Mounties, Navarro returned to his alma mater. Along with his duties as the assistant tennis coach, he works as the assistant director of residential life and is also a resident director on campus.
